LIONEL SMIT

From a young age, Lionel Smit has moved between sculpture and painting. Having grown up with sculpture, the medium seemed at first the best outlet for his creativity. Lionel Smit has recently returned to sculpture, but with a decidedly painterly approach. The sculptures that appear in this body of work are counterparts of the paintings.
