After cutting open the cup, the shell will be submerged into boiling water to melt
out all the wax, leaving a hollow shell. Once this is completed it is baked, de-carbon
and dried in a oven. At about 600°C. After this process is completed we can close
up all holes and remove excess dirt inside the shell.
Now the shell is ready to be pre-heated and the process of casting melted bronze
into the shell can begin. After it cools down we can break away and remove all the
ceramic. This is now ready for the next stage of assembling the sculpture.
